Ms. Meaney joined Barkan Management Company in January 1994. She has twenty-five years of diverse experience in property management with broad knowledge in all types of residential housing including condominiums, cooperatives, conventionally-financed luxury rental housing as well as in the affordable housing arena. She has been a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management, IREM for fifteen years and served as President of the Boston Chapter #4 in 1993. Her affiliations include membership with the RHA, the Rental Housing Association, as a Director in 2003, CHAPA, the Citizens Housing and Planning Association, a Director for ARCH, the Association for Resident Control of Housing, NEAHMA, the New England Affordable Housing Management Association and NEEHA, the New England Elderly Housing Association. Ms. Meaney is a Certified Property Manager, CPM® with the Institute of Real Estate Management, was a recipient of the Certified Property Manager Award with IREM and is also a member of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board. She attended Northeastern University.
